Firehouse Mustache Wax Light wax works well with blonde/gray/white colored hair. It blends well and will not 'yellow' or flake in your facial hair. It provides great hold in all weather conditions with easy application. Handmade in small batches in the USA. One application in the morning should work for the whole day, even in hot, sweaty conditions. If you leave the wax where it will get cold, you may need to let the wax warm some before applying. (i.e. putting it in your pocket, running under hot water or near warm air out of a vent etc.)
To apply: push (not scrape) wax up on the fingernail of your index finger, and then wipe it onto your thumb of the same hand. (Push like a bulldozer pushes up dirt.) Some customers prefer using different objects to push up the wax before putting on fingers. Find what works best for you. Rub the wax back and forth 2-3 times between your index finger and thumb. Then apply using your index finger. Or you can use both index finger and thumb if you’re trying to handlebar or want more control of where the wax is applied.
Make sure wax is at room temperature before applying. You may want to put it in your pocket, over a warm vent, on top of the coffee pot, run under hot water, or even use a blow dryer to make the wax even easier to apply.
Seems like a light-coloured wax, but is very stiff and hard. Have to warm it up with a hair dryer. Still looking for a softer wax that isn't dark.
